Hello Paper Crafters!! How adorable are these hippos? Check out my Hippest Hippos Card Tutorial below. I earned the Hippest Hippos stamp set and coordinating Hippo dies for the July-August Sale-a-bration. This set is perfect for using any of our coloring tools. I was in the mood to water color, so I gathered Stampin’ Write Markers, Water Painters and a Clear Block D. This water color technique is so simple. Just scribble a marker across the Clear Block to put some ink down. Then, pick the ink up with the Water Painter and color your images.

I used the Fluid 100 Watercolor because it is perfect for coloring in larger images especially if you want to have shading on your images. The watercolor paper also holds up to more water which means you can manipulate the ink more without worry that your paper will pucker and tear.
