Hello Paper Crafters!! Today I want to share a very special card I created. These are the graduation announcements I made for my son’s girlfriend, Catherine. She had seen the cards I made for my son and thought the announcements that you order were boring, so she asked me to design her graduation announcements. I couldn’t have been more flattered!

The first thing we started with was choosing a card base design. Then we chose a theme for the announcements. I thought the Nature’s Poem was the perfect theme for her and she loved it when she saw it. Catherine graduated on May 11 with a B.S. in Recreation and Event Management. She is going to become a Park Ranger so this suite was perfect for her. I was able to incorporate her love of nature and a favorite quote.

This project was so fun for me to make because I could use an elaborate design, multiple techniques, products and tools. I just love how these Nature’s Poem Graduation Announcements turned out. This is what I love to do more than anything!

Rooted in Nature Stamp Set & Nature’s Roots  Framelits

The Rooted in Nature Bundle was one of the bundles that I really liked when I saw it in the new catalog (2018-19 annual catalog). It was designed to coordinate with the Lovely as a Tree stamp set (retiring on June 3, 2019) which has been in the catalog for nearly 20 years and also the Winter Woods stamp set (released in the 2018 Holiday catalog).
