September 2018 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Projects

Hello Paper Crafters!! I’ve created four September 2018 Paper Pumpkin alternative projects for you. This kit has so many wonderful elements that I was able to create lots of different looks.

Project 1: Lots of Color

For this card, I was going for colorful and fun. I used a number of the stamps from Frights and Delights to create my own DSP (designer series paper). I used some of our new colors: Pineapple Punch, Gorgeous Grape & Granny Apple Green. It’s so much fun to play with new colors! Love the way this card turned out!

Project 2: Spooky Bat

September 2018 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Projects

I used one of our Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes to create this “spooky” card. I used lots of elements like the die cut bat, “spooky” sticker, baker’s twine, cellophane bag and a tag topper. One of my favorite things to do is make the envelope match the card. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits and a small piece of the Toil & Trouble DSP (the one with the bats) to line the envelope. Such an easy way to make a pulled together look.  And I couldn’t resist adding a little sparkle by using the rhinestones for the bat’s eyes.

Project 3: Tombstones

September 2018 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Projects

While playing around with the pieces from this kit, I thought the tag topper’s top edge reminded me of a tombstone. I created this spooky cemetery scene with stamps, ink and a Stampin’ Write marker in Basic Gray.

Project 4: Scrapbook Page

September 2018 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Projects

I have decided I am going to make at least one scrapbook page per month. That way I can always have pages to work on without it seeming like a big project. I loved the color combination for this kit and the die cut images are great accents for a scrapbook page. To tie the page together I added a strip of the Toil & Trouble DSP to the top of the page. This DSP has the same color palette as this kit.
