Photo-Realistic Card
What is the hard part about creating a piece of art? Most people say they can’t draw. When you use rubber stamps the hard part, the drawing, is done for you. You say you are not an artist? I say you are now! Create a photo-realistic card when you combine this unique stamp set, Heartfelt Blooms, with Stampin’ Blends. Let me show you how to make this beautiful card!
Heartfelt Blooms:
Have you heard of Stampin’ Up!’s new “Distinktive” stamps? The stamp lays down the ink at different opacities giving the finished image more depth – just ink the surface lightly for a perfect photographic finish. It’s so easy to create a work of art when you use this unique stamp set which creates a photo-realistic image. The process for creating this type of rubber stamp is such a revolutionary process that Stampin’ Up! has a patent pending!!

The Heartfelt Blooms stamp set has so many possibilities! It’s a fun stamp set to color so I decided to go with a pastel palette to show off our Stampin’ Blends.
The Project:
Step 1:
Cut your pieces.
- Thick Whisper White card stock: 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
- Pool Party card stock: 3 ½” x 4 ¼”
- Whisper White card stock: 3” x 3 ¾”, die cut 2 ¼” oval
- Calypso Coral & Old Olive DSP: 1 ¼” x 5 ½”
- Pool Party DSP: 2” x 5 ½”
Step 2:
Stamp your images.
- Stamp the flower bouquet in smoky slate on the 3” x 3 ¾” whisper white piece.
- Then, stamp “Thank You” on the die cut oval piece.
Step 3:
Color the flower bouquet.
- Stampin’ Blends I used:
- Light: Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pink Pirouette, Pumpkin Pie
- Dark: Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette, Pool Party

Step 4:
Putting it all together.
- Adhere the Calypso Coral and Old Olive DSP pieces to the card base. Then center the Pool Party DSP and adhere to card base.
- Next, adhere the stamped piece to the Pool Party card stock at an angle.
- Then, adhere the Pool Party piece, at an angle, over the DSP.
- Adhere die cut “ Thank You” piece with dimensionals in the bottom right corner.
I hope you enjoyed making this card. I think the image and the colors are so delicate and pretty.
