Hello Paper Crafters!! As promised, here is a peak at the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog (goes live on June 4 2019). I can show you the cover today but you have to wait until June 4 to see the inside.

I know, I know that is so hard to do. But…I can show you everything I got at OnStage San Antonio and that should keep you happy until then.

This catalog features 12 new suites and 29 new bundles (stamp set + dies or a punch). The cover features 2 of the new suites, Come Sail Away and Magnolia Lane. There is something extra special about the Magnolia Lane Suite. It has a companion suite, Garden Lane, with an additional stamp set and DSP. These two suites work perfectly together and can take your creativity in many directions.

The sneak peak make n takes feature 4 suites and the May Paper Pumpkin kit.

Bird Ballad Suite

Bird Ballad Make n Take

The first make n’ take features the Bird Ballad Suite. The stamp set, Free as a Bird, features sweet bird images, flowers, leaves and 6 sentiments. For this sample we colored the images with Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, used a piece of the Bird Ballad DSP and the 3/8” Scalloped Lace Trim in Very Vanilla to finish it off. If you are a fan of the stitched framelits, this suite includes the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. Rounding out the suite are 12 laser cut cards in a tin and Bird Ballad Trinkets.

Follow Your Art Suite

Follow Your Art Suite

Make n’ take number 2 features the Follow Your Art Suite. This is a fun suite with images of crafting tools and a bright color palette. For this sample we used Stampin’ Blends to color the spools of ribbon, a button stamp to create a background and two pieces of Follow Your Art DSP. The stamp set, It Starts with Art, features images of drawing tools, buttons, sequins, ink bottle, binder clip and spools of ribbon. The coordinating dies, Arts and Crafts, cut out many of the stamp set images plus buttons, paper clips and more. This suite also contains an embossing folder, embellishment kit, washi tape and the cutest mini shipping boxes with the Stampin’ Up! logo on the front.

Come Sail Away Suite

Come Sail Away Suite

In the afternoon we played with the Come Sail Away Suite. The stamp set, Sailing Home, has 7 nautical themed images and 5 sentiments. For this sample, we did a water color wash on water color paper for the background, die cut images, used the Come Sail Away DSP and the Sail Away Trinkets. This suite also contains an embossing folder, Baker’s Twine and Memories and More card pack. This suite will be a favorite for masculine cards.

Perennial Essence Suite

Perennial Essence

This is my favorite suite in the new catalog. The imagery on the DSP is so gorgeous that all you need to do is put it in a frame and you have an easy piece of framed art. The DSP imagery is in the Impressionism art movement style and reminds you of artists like Monet, Renoir and Manet. For this sample, we started with a gorgeous piece of the DSP, Perennial Essence, then stamped some flowers with the Floral Essence stamp set and layered some punched flowers in vellum and finished it off with the Perennial Essence Floral Centers, a very unique embellishment. This suite also includes 5/8” organdy striped ribbon in Petal Pink.

Be watching for more samples with this suite. As a demonstrator who attended the convention I had the opportunity to pre-order certain products. I loved this suite so much that I pre-ordered everything.

Hugs from Shelli

Shelli worked with the kit’s concept artists and designer to bring her personal style and taste into this kit. She describes the kit as having a touch of earthy and elegant spring with lots of layers and textures. This kit contains 12 cards (3 cards of 4 unique designs) and includes 12 coordinating envelopes.
